           The ivory field of this masterpiece is made out of un-dyed natural virgin lamb wool – this is why it has grey hair among white color. Ghashghaee is world famous for making only kilim and seldom will you find pile rugs made by them, especially a fine knotted one like this. Weaving a blank field is more difficult than one with motifs since even a tiny mistake will be readily visible, something you do not see in this rug.

              This hand made rug depicting the ancient Kazak pattern is made in Pakistan out of pure wool for both pile and foundation, dyed with vegetable dyes.
