Let your eyes wander and explore the intricate detail of this stunning woven work of art.  This Kerman was woven by the renowned weaver Arjmand himself, and represents the one of the only of his rugs to feature a crimson field.   Notice the “broken-border”, a difficult technique to master in which the border motifs leap from the border and exceed into the field motifs.  The dainty ornateness and uniqueness of this rug render it a museum piece. 

Recently dusted, hand-washed, lanolin applied, stain proofed, moth proofed, and fully restored..
