Hand-woven of South Caspian wool, this kilim is believed to be Persian. Employing a subdued palette, this traditional artwork features a full geometric pattern balanced by a few rudimentary motifs. Recently dusted, hand-washed, lanolin applied, stain proofed, and moth proofed; in need of some restoration; Donated by Noor Oriental Rugs Inc. toward cancer research, AIDS prevention and care, and educational causes.
