An antique Persian jijim pillow from the nineteen-twenties. The pillow is finely woven from South Caspian wool and organic dyes in a palette of ochre, umber, and burnt sienna. This jijim pillow flaunts a traditional pattern of stripes and features asymmetric raised geometric motifs In need of some attention, possibly in need of new backing or stuffing. Generously donated by Mr. Tabak of Tabak Oriental Rugs, Inc. toward spiritual organizations.
