This vivid Hamadan is a beautiful balance of signature cerulean, emerald, and salmon highlights in a field of highly-prized soft-red dye, flanked by a border of cream.  This rug has acquired a sought-after, soothing patina of age, which has been the inspiration for antique-looking rugs on looms in Egypt, Pakistan, India, and China.  A stylized, symmetrical floral pattern emanates from a medallion at the rug’s center.  This rug is woven exclusively from South Caspian wool in semi coarse Senneh knots by the Persian cottage industry, renowned for its high standards.
