In the early twentieth-century Sarouks were all the rage in the American luxury market. This Sarouk dates from that time and displays all the classic characteristics of a Sarouk: deep pink dye and greenish florals. Most Sarouks imported to the United States in the early twentieth century were painted red to appeal to the tastes of that time.
