Fine wool and silk rugs contain natural oils and lanolin that protect the fibers. Modern steam cleaning or machine scrubbing strips these natural protectors, causing fibers to dry out, grow brittle, and crack. At Noor, we use a multi-step traditional process: organic hand washing, gentle dust extraction, and flat sun-drying. Our green methods prevent color bleeding and preserve authentic textures.
